The Lee County Hyacinth Control District (LCHCD) is a local government agency for management of nuisance aquatic vegetation in waterways of Lee County, including the Caloosahatchee River and it’s tributaries as far upstream as the Ortona Locks.

Meeting Calendar: The members of the Board of Commissioners for the Lee County Mosquito Control District serve as the Board for the Lee County Hyacinth Control District. Lee County Hyacinth Control District Board meetings are held in conjunction with the Lee County Mosquito Control District Board meetings at the same time and place as the Lee County Mosquito Control District Meetings. LCHCD Board Meetings and Agendas -
The September Board Meeting will begin at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, 9/4/14. The Public Hearing of the tentative budget will begin at 5:01 P.M. for Mosquito and 5:15 P.M. for Hyacinth. The Board Meeting will reconvene after the Hyacinth Public Hearing.

On the 12th day of September 2013 the Board of Commissioners for the Lee County Hyacinth Control District adopted the October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014 proposed budget as final.
